* * * * S P E C I A L      N O T I C E * * * *

Brethren,
The Grand Master has designated the EVERY DAY OF EVERY MONTH as “MASONIC RECOGNITION DAY” and every member is requested to wear some sort of Masonic regalia such as rings, lapel pins, golf shirts, jackets, etc. to show his membership in the greatest fraternal organization in the world and as proof of your pride in membership in that organization. This request from the Grand Master is an opportunity for each Mason to show his community who and what Masons are, what they stand for, and to demonstrate to the general public our tenets of brotherly love, relief, truth, and charity to all by our actions.

FROM THE SECRETARY AND TREASURER

Brethren,
The dues for 2008, $76.00, were due and payable on or before 1 January 2008. When you receive this bulletin write your check and send it to either of us or, better yet, bring it to the Lodge on May 8th and participate in the proceedings and fellowship of YOUR Lodge. If you are one of the 16 or 17 who have not paid the dues for 2007 AND 2008 you are now eligible to be suspended for non-payment of dues and I must remind you that if you are suspended in our Lodge you are automatically suspended from ALL Masonic Bodies to which you belong. Take heed and govern yourself accordingly.

Fraternally,
Charles S. Sarbaugh, Secretary
Wade V. Evans Jr., Treasurer

FROM THE SECRETARY

Brethren,
In the not-so-distant past we have received information about the deaths of Brothers long, long after the fact and we were not in a position to acknowledge those deaths or offer any kind of support to the families. Also, have been criticized for not acknowledging the illness of a Brother; in many cases we were not aware of the illness as we were not informed of the same. Brethren, please ask a member of your family to notify the Lodge, by phone or note, of illness or distress or death so that we may offer our support. This is what our Fraternity is all about so please assist the Lodge in living up to its commitments to its members. Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Fraternally,
Charles S. Sarbaugh, Secretary
