Supervised operations ensuring efficient and claim free movement of freight from terminal to terminal. Responsibilities included supervising loading and unloading of freight, supplying proper documentation and procedure control for the handling of hazardous materials. Responsible for weight inspection reports and tracing 15-20 at risk shipments on a nightly basis. Supervise 6 to 8 dock workers.

Supervised operations ensuring efficient and claim free movement of freight from terminal to terminal.  Responsibilities included supervising loading and unloading of freight, supplying proper documentation and procedure control for the handling of hazardous materials.  In addition I assisted in shift planning and routing of freight on a nightly basis.  Supervised 10 to 15 drivers.

Financially and operationally turned around a troubled building around through increasing census by 37%, exceeding budgeted ebidarm goals each month, Ensure that an adequate number of appropriately licensed professional and non-licensed personnel are on duty to meet the needs of the residents. Increased the Medicare Normalized rate by $200.00 per day by working closely with the PPS team members to maximize reimbursement through staff education with ADL’s and SE Qualifiers.  Increasing the Case Mix Index by 48% by having weekly case mix review meetings.  Increasing morale through team building exercises.

August 2004 - May 2008 Administrator,  Nursing Home Facility in Richmond, VA
